Romantic Drama 'A Love Like This' Acquired for Distribution

Quiver Distribution has secured the North American and UK distribution rights for the upcoming romantic drama, "A Love Like This." Directed by John Asher and written by Jeffrey Ruggles, the film features a compelling cast led by Emmanuelle Chriqui and Hayes MacArthur.

The narrative centers on Leah and Paul, a couple whose relationship is tested by love, lust, and deception during a pivotal weekend in Malibu. They must confront their history and decide if their profound connection can endure. Production for the film was completed in Malibu during 2023, notably under a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement during Hollywood strikes.

"A Love Like This" is slated for a theatrical premiere on April 3rd. The cast also includes Joel Michaely, Jason Caceres, Ray Abruzzo, and Joyce Bulifant. Producers expressed excitement about the film finding a home with Quiver, highlighting the collaborative spirit behind telling a complex love story and Quiver's support for independent cinema.

Actors Emmanuelle Chriqui and Hayes MacArthur emphasized the significance of the SAG low-budget waiver during the strike, which enabled the dedicated crew to continue production. They noted that independent filmmaking thrives on passion and perseverance, qualities embodied by this project. The distribution deal was negotiated by Larry Greenberg and TJ Smith for Quiver, with Paul Davidson at 27th Hour representing the filmmakers.
