Racist Remarks End Love Island USA Contestant's Run

Alannah Keyser has been removed from Love Island USA after a video surfaced on social media featuring her using a racial slur. Keyser entered the villa as a bombshell during the Casa Amor twist. Peacock confirmed they were unaware of her social media posts before casting, as they were not public until after her appearance. These posts would not have been accessible during the standard vetting process.

Keyser's time on the show was short-lived, with her presence significantly reduced in the episode prior to her exit. She had formed a connection with Zach Georgiou in Casa Amor, leading to anticipation about whether he would bring her back to the main villa. Despite appearing in Thursday night's episode, her connection with Zach marked her final appearance.

Narrator Iain Stirling announced Keyser's departure from Casa Amor. Her removal had implications in the main villa, as fellow Islander Kayda received a postcard showing Keyser and Zach together. This is not the first instance of a Love Island USA Season 8 contestant being cut due to problematic social media posts. Vasana Montgomery was previously axed after resurfaced videos of her using a racial slur. Yulissa Escobar and Cierra Miller were also removed from previous seasons for similar reasons.
