Love Island: All Stars is reportedly scheduled for a comeback in 2027, despite significant controversy surrounding its most recent series. The ITV spin-off faced a barrage of viewer complaints, exceeding 11,000, primarily due to the high level of on-screen conflict and arguments between contestants. One particular incident involving Islanders Belle Hassan and Lucinda Strafford generated over 11,000 Ofcom complaints for alleged bullying.

The show's brand faced further challenges when the winning couple, Samie Elishi and Ciaran Davies, announced their split a mere 15 days after leaving the villa. This rapid breakup, especially by the winners, has raised internal concerns about the show's focus on romance versus drama, with bosses reportedly comparing it unfavorably to 'Big Brother'.

Despite these issues, the All Stars spin-off achieved substantial viewership, being streamed over 80 million times and attracting the largest 16-34 audience on a commercial channel. Meanwhile, presenter Maya Jama's hosting contract for the All Stars offshoot is still under negotiation, though she is expected to host the main series this summer.

In parallel developments, Samie Elishi has recently confirmed a new relationship with fellow Islander Tyrique Hyde, sharing holiday pictures from Morocco.
