The promotional clip, released on May 16, 2026, features Iain Stirling hyping the 'hottest competition of the summer' and Jama describing a 'squad of worldies and a bench full of bombshells.' The series appears to be embracing a football theme, coinciding with the World Cup, with a cheering crowd in the background of the teaser.
However, the teaser's release has amplified a common fan question: when exactly does the show begin? Social media is flooded with inquiries about the start date, as an official announcement has yet to be made. Previous reports suggested a premiere around June 1, 2026.
As anticipation mounts, viewers express their eagerness for the new season, with comments like 'Euro summer in Love Island!!' reflecting the excitement. Love Island, which debuted in 2015, continues to be the UK's most-watched dating show, promising 'unexpected arrivals, shifting loyalties, and sparks flying.'
