Love Is Blind Finds Its Canadian Home

Love Is Blind is officially heading north of the border, with Netflix announcing a Canadian edition of the popular reality dating series on August 11, 2026. Insight Productions will produce 'Love Is Blind: Canada,' and casting is already underway for interested singles.

Canadian fans have long awaited their own version of the show, which became a global phenomenon after its 2020 premiere. The dating experiment involves singles communicating and forming connections without seeing each other, potentially leading to an engagement before their first face-to-face meeting.

Prospective contestants must meet specific eligibility criteria. Applicants need to be at least 19 years old at the time of application and must hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status as of January 1, 2027. The application process delves into personal history, personality, and relationship goals.

Netflix has not yet disclosed filming locations, host, or a premiere date for 'Love Is Blind: Canada.' Similar to other international versions, the show typically casts singles from the same city or region to facilitate post-show relationships.
