Maren Morris Validates Singer Lou Ridley's Bold Voice

Lou Ridley is transitioning from her role at a chiropractor's office to embark on a national tour. Known for her outspoken nature and distinctive artistic approach, Ridley's career is taking a new turn. Her latest single, "American Girl," critically examines the preconceived notions and labels imposed on women by society.

This move into a full-time music career comes after receiving significant validation from acclaimed artist Maren Morris. Morris's support was particularly impactful, as Ridley had previously been advised to abandon her personal opinions. Their extensive conversations provided Ridley with confidence that she is pursuing the right path in the music industry.

Ridley's music often reflects her life experiences, including overcoming personal challenges and societal pressures. She emphasizes finding positivity even in difficult situations, a theme present in her heartfelt new single, "Good Bad Day." Her approach to creativity involves spontaneous expression, often writing shortly before studio sessions, allowing for authentic artistic output.
