In November 2025, Lottie Tomlinson, a 27-year-old mother of two, has opened up about how having children has helped her cope with the tragic losses of her mother and sister. Lottie was only 18 when her mother, Johannah Deakin, passed away from leukemia in 2016. Just three years later, in 2019, she also lost her younger sister, Félicité, to an accidental drug overdose.
Now a mother to two young children, Lucky, 2, and Flossie Grace, 10 months, Lottie has shared that being a parent has helped heal the grief she has experienced. She explains that the feeling of being her children's "comfort blanket" has been incredibly rewarding and has mended a part of her that she had been grieving since losing her own mother.
