In November 2025, music producer-DJ duo Lost Stories and singer-songwriter Jai Dhir have reunited to release Marigold Soundsystem II, a new 4-track EP that continues their exploration of the sounds, moods, and emotions surrounding Indian weddings.
The project, produced by Lost Stories and written by Jai Dhir, revisits familiar ground with a softer focus, capturing the quieter moments that often go unnoticed in the larger celebration. "The idea wasn't to make something big or perfect, just something that felt true," says Lost Stories' Prayag Mehta. Each song on the EP takes on a distinct emotional theme, from the anticipation of the first meeting of the bride and groom to the intimate connection between the couple and the bustling celebration of wedding preparations.
