Her talent was recognized with three Silver Logie Awards for Most Popular Actress in 1978, 1979, and 1983. Despite her successful career, Bayly faced significant health challenges in recent years, including pneumonia, a partially collapsed lung, and breast cancer, for which she underwent a mastectomy.
Bayly began her training in the 1950s and made her television debut in 1962, later becoming an original presenter on "Play School."
