The third edition of Lollapalooza India commenced on January 24, transforming Mumbai's Mahalaxmi Racecourse into a hub of music, art, and culture. Thousands of attendees experienced a day filled with diverse genre-spanning performances from international and domestic artists.
Headlining Day 1 was hip-hop artist Playboi Carti, making his significant debut in India, alongside performances by YUNGBLUD and Fujii Kaze, who delivered a poignant piano rendition. Electronic and alternative music fans enjoyed sets from Knock2, The Midnight, and Mother Mother, while UK acts Hamdi and Hot Milk also energized the crowd.
An array of Indian artists, including Ankur Tewari & The Ghalat Family and Gauley Bhai, showcased their talent. The festival grounds also featured a sprawling Lolla Food Park with over 70 vendors, striking art installations, and interactive zones, creating a comprehensive festival experience.
