Lokesh Kanagaraj Becomes Highest-Paid Debut Actor with 35 Crore Salary

In a surprising turn of events, acclaimed filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to make his acting debut in the upcoming film 'DC'. The project, which is being backed by Sun Pictures, the same production house that supported Kanagaraj's previous directorial venture Coolie, has reportedly offered the maverick director a staggering 35 crore salary for his acting role.

This unprecedented move has made Kanagaraj the highest-paid debut actor in Indian cinema, surpassing even established stars like Dhanush, who was reportedly paid 30 crores for his role in Kuberaa. The 'DC' film, which also stars Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead, is being directed by Arun Matheswaran and is said to be an action thriller with an interesting character for Kanagaraj.

Given Kanagaraj's reputation as a talented filmmaker, the upcoming project is expected to perform well at the box office.
