Lizzo's 'Bitch' Album: Same Music, New Destiny

Lizzo's upcoming album, "Bitch," slated for release on June 5th, is confirmed to be the same musical project as her previously announced "Love in Real Life." The artist clarified that the core music remains unchanged, with the shift in title occurring after the removal of the original title track.

This change in nomenclature, Lizzo explained, has altered the album's trajectory. She views "Bitch" as a more empowered and self-actualized work, contrasting with the introspective tone of "Love in Real Life." This shift reflects Lizzo's personal evolution since the album's initial writing in 2022.

Ahead of "Bitch," Lizzo released singles "Don't Make Me Love U" and "Bitch," following earlier tracks "Love in Real Life" and "Still Bad" from spring 2025. She also recently recreated Chili's "Baby Back Ribs" jingle in a theatrical ad. Lizzo believes her mixtape "My Face Hurts From Smiling" will gain appreciation over time, fitting into a current nostalgia-driven culture.
