In November 2025, Netflix will be adding a new adult animated comedy series to its lineup. 'Living the Dream' is set to premiere on the streaming platform, hailing from BAFTA-nominated creator George Gendi and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe.
The eight-part series follows the misadventures of Des and Ray, two best friends from London who feel they should have achieved greater success by now. Instead, they find themselves working at a "we're-gonna-save-the-planet type company called Ecofood," handling social media tasks for little pay. The show will chronicle their attempts to navigate awkward workplace romances, HR blunders, directives from the L.A. office, and Ray's father's disapproval of his career choices.
The voice cast for 'Living the Dream' includes Gendi himself, as well as Javone Prince, Tom Stourton, Ellie White, Chris Diamantopoulos, Stavros Halkias, Julia Davis, and Ambika Mod. Executive producers on the series are Sam Register, Sarah Fell, and Daniel Lennard.
The animation for 'Living the Dream' is being handled by Ireland's Boulder Media studio, with additional writers including Phoebe Walsh, Ellie White, Joe Parnham, and Joe Markham.
