The original cast of "Little House on the Prairie" is set to reunite at the historic Almanzo Wilder Homestead in Burke, New York, for "Wilder Weekend 2026." This event celebrates the boyhood home of Almanzo Wilder, a central figure in Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Farmer Boy" book and the TV series.
Scheduled for July 25 and 26, the weekend will feature cast members Dean Butler, Jennifer Donati, Charles Bloom, and Alison Arngrim meeting fans, signing autographs, and taking photos. A special preview on Friday, July 24, includes Arngrim's one-woman show at the Chateaugay Town Hall Theater.
The main event at the Wilder Homestead will offer two full days of music, 19th-century living-history demonstrations, crafts, and food. The celebration will culminate with a fiddle concert in Malone. A VIP fundraising dinner is also planned for July 26 at the Malone Golf Club.
Almanzo Wilder lived in Burke, NY, before moving west and marrying Laura Ingalls. The Wilder family were progressive farmers in the area. Demonstrations will include historical farming practices and Morgan horses from the William H. Miner Institute.
