BLACKPINK member LISA is set to commence her VIVA LA LISA residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on November 12, 2026. The artist recently shared insights on Jake Shane's Therapuss podcast regarding her pre-residency jitters and her recent MTV VMA win for best pop song.
Her debut solo album, Alter Ego, and its accompanying EP Press Play, feature the single "SaWaDiKa," inspired by her home country of Thailand. LISA spent six to seven months in Thailand reconnecting with her roots, which heavily influenced the EP's themes and aesthetics, including incorporating Thai sounds and imagery like tuk-tuks.
LISA also revealed a growing obsession with Labubu dolls. Initially unfamiliar with them, she discovered the collectible plushies during a visit to Thailand and has since amassed a large collection. This passion has led to her living space becoming overwhelmed with the dolls.
