Lisa Riley Hints at Secret Wedding to Al

Lisa Riley recently alluded to a secret wedding with her fiancé, Al, during her 'I'm A Celebrity' exit interview, referring to him as her 'husband.' The couple, together for eleven years, became engaged in 2018. However, they have openly discussed their decision not to have a formal wedding ceremony.

Riley explained that the loss of both their mothers makes a traditional wedding day incredibly difficult to contemplate. She stated that they already feel married and she could not proceed with such a significant event without her mother present. Al's mother's passing, shortly before Riley's own mother's death in 2012, has made the situation particularly poignant.

Adding to recent challenges, Riley confessed to returning to work prematurely after Al's mother, whom she considered a second mother, passed away. She acknowledged that, in hindsight, she should not have resumed filming so soon after the bereavement, finding it a deeply raw and challenging experience.
