Lisa Ann Walter Champions Teachers with BIC Supply Bus

Actress Lisa Ann Walter is lending her public platform to support educators through the BIC Supply Ride Bus Tour. Walter, known for her role as a dedicated teacher on TV, has personal ties to the profession, with both her mother and daughter having careers in teaching. She highlights the constant struggle teachers face to obtain necessary classroom supplies, which often exceed their salaries and public funding.

Walter's involvement with BIC's initiative stems from a deep understanding of these challenges. She emphasizes that BIC is "putting their money literally where their mouth is" by providing tangible support. The BIC Supply Ride Bus Tour directly delivers free classroom essentials to teachers. This year's tour builds upon a previous successful pop-up event and expands its reach beyond New York City to include stops in Austin, Atlanta, and Chicago. Teachers nationwide can also enter online for a chance to receive a supply package.
