Summary
- Lindy Klim plans to marry Paul Mullert in Australia.
- She previously indicated a potential January wedding date.
- Klim cited busy tourist crowds and traffic in Bali.

Balinese princess Lindy Klim has announced that her upcoming wedding to Paul Mullert will be held in Australia, opting out of a tropical ceremony in Bali. Klim, 46, who was born into royalty in Bali and lived there for 14 years before returning to Australia with her children this year, explained her decision. She stated that the shine has worn off Bali for her, citing the island's current tourist congestion and lengthy traffic delays as significant deterrents to a celebration there.
Klim had previously alluded to a January wedding date during an event in December, sparking speculation about nuptials in her birthplace. However, she clarified that while the relationship is progressing, with her children getting along well with Mullert's daughter, the focus is on enjoying their time together. She expressed a strong preference for an Australian celebration, stating that Australia has been very kind to her.
The socialite debuted her relationship with Mullert earlier this year, nine months after her split from her second husband. Mullert, who is from Perth and was a childhood friend of Heath Ledger, met Klim through his sister. Klim described him as a 'normal, beautiful person' who is 'full of love,' and indicated they are taking their time with the relationship.
