Folk Legend Linda Perhacs Missing For Months

Renowned folk musician Linda Perhacs has been reported missing for approximately eight months, according to her co-producer Fernando Perdomo. Perhacs, aged 82, was last seen at her 80th birthday party in September 2024. Her former manager noted her release from a care facility around the same time, raising concerns about her well-being.

Perdomo expressed grave concern, fearing Perhacs might have been abandoned without a place to live. Attempts to contact the care facility for her current address have been unsuccessful, though staff indicated she would not be released without suitable housing. Perdomo is collaborating with the police in his efforts to find her.

The disappearance has also brought attention to Perhacs' personal life, including her past marriage. She previously spoke about how her artist husband exposed her to the world of art, but the marriage faced difficulties, leading her to pursue guitar lessons for personal fulfillment. While she dated after her divorce, there are no indications of remarriage.
