Linda Hamilton Joins Stranger Things for Final Season

Actress Linda Hamilton, widely recognized for her iconic portrayal of Sarah Connor in the Terminator franchise, has stepped into a new, formidable role in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. She will be seen as Dr. Kay, a hyper-intelligent and intimidating military scientist with a hidden agenda, who is actively pursuing the telekinetic character Eleven.

Hamilton, a self-professed admirer of the Netflix science fiction drama since its 2016 debut, shared her enthusiasm for joining the cast. Despite her long-standing habit of not watching her own projects, she expressed how much she enjoyed the script readings and observing the show unfold, calling it a 'feast to watch.'

Her casting, announced in June 2023, was kept under wraps until recently, with Hamilton eager to share the news. The show's creators have described Dr. Kay as a scientist capable of combat, adding a significant new threat or ally to the unfolding narrative as the series heads towards its conclusion.
