Lily Collins to Embody Audrey Hepburn Icon

Actress Lily Collins will embody the legendary Audrey Hepburn in a forthcoming film adaptation. This project is inspired by Sam Wasson's 2010 book, "Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and the Dawn of the Modern Woman." The author, Wasson, who is also an executive producer, enthusiastically supports Collins's casting. He noted that she clearly loves the role and bears a striking resemblance to Hepburn. Wasson believes Collins possesses the crucial combination of innocence and sensuality, youthfulness and sophistication that defined Hepburn.

This film adaptation has been in the works for approximately ten years, with Wasson attributing the delay to the complexities and costs inherent in the film industry.
