Disney has unveiled a first look at the highly anticipated live-action "Lilo & Stitch" sequel, revealing the addition of Angel, also known as Experiment 624. Angel is Stitch's intergalactic love interest, first introduced in "Lilo & Stitch: The Series."
The sequel is set to premiere on May 26, 2028, coinciding with the Memorial Day weekend. This follows the remarkable success of the initial live-action adaptation, which garnered over $1 billion at the global box office.
Chris Sanders, the original co-creator and voice of Stitch, is directing the follow-up. Jonathan Eirich, producer of the first live-action film, is also returning, with Rideback's Ryan Halprin serving as executive producer.
