Lili Reinhart Channels Brittany Murphy in Fashion Homage

Lili Reinhart has recently honored iconic movie fashion by recreating memorable looks from beloved romantic comedies. In her latest tribute, she paid homage to the late Brittany Murphy by donning a sparkly floral Blumarine dress, reminiscent of Murphy's attire in the 2003 film Uptown Girls. Reinhart expressed her long-held admiration for the dress and Murphy's portrayal of the character Molly Gunn.

This fashion series is a promotional effort for Reinhart's own romantic comedy, The Love Hypothesis, set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 23, 2026. Earlier in her promotional tour, Reinhart also recreated Kate Hudson's yellow dress from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Drew Barrymore's look from Ever After: A Cinderella Story.

Furthermore, Reinhart channeled Sandra Bullock's iconic purple dress from Miss Congeniality. The film The Love Hypothesis, adapted from Ali Hazelwood's novel, centers on a biology Ph.D. student played by Reinhart and her fake relationship with a colleague. Reinhart, who also produces, highlighted the film's emphasis on female friendship and its aim to capture a timeless romantic comedy feel.
