Lil Wayne has revealed he is engaged to Madi Cannon, introducing her as his fiancée in a video message shared on September 28, 2026. During the clip, he enthusiastically declared his intention to marry her. This announcement follows earlier speculation and reports of their engagement that surfaced in May and gained traction in June through shared photos. However, in July 2026, Wayne explicitly refuted these claims, stating he was not engaged and had ended a relationship due to the pressures of the current world.

In the same video, the rapper also addressed his absence from a scheduled stop on his "20 Years of Carter Classics Tour." He explained that a severe migraine, which can trigger his epilepsy and seizures, prevented him from traveling by air for the performance. He has since made up for the missed show with a rescheduled performance in late July 2026.
