The family of the late artist Lil Poppa, identified as Janarious Mykel Wheeler, is appealing for public help to recover a valuable Goyard bag and jewelry. These items reportedly went missing on the same day the artist died by suicide in February. The belongings were last known to be secured in the bag.
The disappearance occurred in the parking lot of a Hilton hotel near Atlanta's 285 and Virginia Avenue. The family has reportedly contacted the Hapeville Police and South Metro Towing without obtaining clear answers or a resolution.
Lil Poppa, who signed with Yo Gotti's CMG label in 2022, was 25 at the time of his death. His passing followed a single-car accident before he arrived at the hotel.
