Lifelong Friends Torn Apart by Shocking Baby Injury

A new limited series, adapted from a bestselling novel, explores the complex dynamics of a close-knit group of four expectant mothers whose friendship has endured for over a decade. Jess, Liz, Charlotte, and Mel were brought together by their shared due dates, despite having little in common, and have been there for one another throughout the challenges of motherhood.

However, this unbreakable bond is put to the test when Jess, a seemingly perfect stay-at-home mom, takes her baby daughter to the hospital with a head injury that she cannot explain. Liz, who is Jess's close friend and the on-duty ER doctor, must make the excruciating decision of whether to call social services, setting in motion a chain of events that threatens to tear their families and friendship apart.

The series, which premiered earlier this year on Paramount+ in the U.K. and Ireland, features a talented ensemble cast that includes Diane Kruger, Jo Joyner, Shelley Conn, and Emily Taaffe, as well as JJ Feild, Ben Bailey Smith, Patrick Baladi, and Stephen Campbell Moore.
