Coronation Street Star Liam Scholes Reveals New Girlfriend

Liam Scholes, known for his role in Coronation Street, has unveiled his new girlfriend, Amberley Barnes, via Instagram on Monday. The 23-year-old actor marked his recent birthday by sharing affectionate moments with Barnes, including reposting a birthday message from her. This public debut signifies the couple's first social media confirmation of their romance.

The couple was seen enjoying a date night, with photos capturing their closeness. Scholes, who also starred in Waterloo Road, was previously in a relationship with Coronation Street co-star Elle Mulvaney. Their separation, which occurred very suddenly in May of the previous year, reportedly shocked their colleagues.

Reports indicated that Mulvaney and Scholes's breakup was unexpected, with both having removed each other from their respective social media profiles. Friends close to the former couple suggested reconciliation was unlikely. Their relationship began in 2022.
