The Critics Choice Association has revealed the honorees for its third annual Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television. This event acknowledges significant achievements within the LGBTQ+ entertainment community, spotlighting talented stars, creators, and writers behind acclaimed projects.
The ceremony will celebrate talent from popular series including HBO Max's "Heated Rivalry" and Netflix's "Stranger Things." Jacob Tierney, the writer and director of "Heated Rivalry," will receive the prestigious Showrunner Award for his contributions to the series.
Noah Schnapp, who portrays Will Byers in "Stranger Things," is slated to receive the Breakthrough Performance Award. This award recognizes his impactful performance in the final season, particularly his portrayal of a young adult coming out in the 1980s.
