Lewis Pullman is slated to star alongside Julia Garner in the forthcoming Apple TV+ series, "Guilty Creatures." Garner is also serving as an executive producer on the project, which was announced on July 6.
The series draws inspiration from Mikita Brottman's true crime book titled "Guilty Creatures: Sex, God, and Murder in Tallahassee, Florida." Its narrative focuses on the intricate lives of two young, adulterous, yet religious lovers, exploring their torrid romance and the subsequent act of murder.
The show's storyline promises to unravel the complex lives of the protagonists and examine the profound emotional toll of living as killers for nearly two decades. This marks Pullman's second project named "Creatures," following his role in Netflix's "Remarkably Bright Creatures."
Tomorrow Studios developed the series for Apple, with Craig Gillespie attached to direct and executive produce. Sarah DeLappe is set to write and executive produce, while Stuart Zicherman will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Julia Garner will also executive produce through her Alma Margo banner.
