Akhil Akkineni's 'Lenin' Arrives on ZEE5 August 7

Akhil Akkineni's action drama 'Lenin' is making its OTT debut on ZEE5 on August 7, following a successful three-week run in theaters. This film represents a significant box-office turnaround for Akkineni, who was last seen in the film 'Agent'.

The story of 'Lenin' is set in Sriramapuram and draws heavy inspiration from the Mahabharata. It follows an orphan, Lenin, who is adopted by Jayanthi and grows up with her son Vasanth. The narrative unfolds through Lenin recounting his past to a young boy named Dilli, as he prepares for a confrontation.

Past events reveal Lenin's love for Bharathi, escalating rivalries with MLA Raghava Reddy and others. After Bharathi's sister Vaidehi is murdered, Bharathi chooses Lenin over Vasanth. A tragic turn of events leads to Bharathi's accidental death by Lenin, resulting in his imprisonment.

Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, 'Lenin' features Bhagyashri Borse, Sunil, and Easwari Rao. The film's music is by Thaman S. Multiple producers, including Nagarjuna Kakineni, have backed the project. The movie will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
