The set is inspired by the real-life Sagrada Familia basilica located in Barcelona, Spain. Construction on this renowned unfinished Catholic church began in March 1882, and it is currently anticipated to reach completion approximately in 2034.
Builders can expect a detailed construction experience, beginning with the Apse with Crypt and Gaudí's completed Nativity façade. The process continues through the Passion façade, naves, and various sacristies, culminating in the six towers and the Glory façade.
Once assembled, the completed LEGO model stands 24 inches high and measures 18.5 inches wide and 15 inches deep. This record-breaking set surpasses the previous largest set, the LEGO World Map, which contained 11,695 bricks.
