Lego Transforms Comic-Con With Pokémon & Star Wars Magic

Lego is significantly enhancing its presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year, focusing on interactive "Lego Smart Play" experiences. Two major installations are themed around popular franchises: "Destination: Mos Eisley" for Star Wars fans, featuring a recreated Cantina and photo opportunities, and a "Pokémon Lab" with scaled-up Lego builds and "Hide and Pikachu" games.

Additionally, Lego is showcasing several highly anticipated new sets. The Lego Icons Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge set will be available starting September 1, coinciding with the show's 60th anniversary. A Donkey Kong Arcade set, featuring interactive barrel-launching play, is set for release on August 1. Lego is also previewing 12 minifigures from the Shrek franchise, with new sets expected in 2027, and these minifigures will be available September 1.
