Verve Signs 'Off Campus' Producer Leanna Billings

Leanna Billings, the founder and CEO of Billings Productions, has been signed by Verve for representation. Billings is the executive producer of the highly successful Prime Video romantic drama, 'Off Campus.' The series, which premiered in May, quickly garnered 36 million viewers in its initial 12 days, making it the third most-watched series launch in the platform's history. Its popularity led to an early renewal for a second season, with production now commencing in Vancouver.

Billings initially secured the rights to the 'Off Campus' book series in 2021 and was instrumental in bringing Amazon to develop the adaptation. She also holds adaptation rights for other popular intellectual property, such as 'The Other Woman' by Sandie Jones and Meghan Quinn's 'Cane Brothers' trilogy. Billings has already completed a screenplay adaptation for the trilogy and has generated significant interest from major studios.
