The spy action thriller 'Leader,' starring Legend Saravanan, has concluded its fifteenth day at the box office with a meager Rs 4 lakhs net collection. This brings the film's total India net earnings to Rs 5.33 crore, with the India gross standing at Rs 6.09 crore. Previous days also saw low figures, with day 11 earning Rs 10 lakhs net and day 12 collecting Rs 22 lakhs net.
Directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar, the 2026 film features Saravanan in the lead, supported by Shaam, Andrea Jeremiah, and others. While the box office performance has been subdued, critics have noted Saravanan's acting growth since his debut. The ensemble cast's performances were highlighted as complementary to his presence.
The film, produced by Legend Saravanan himself, aims to engage audiences with its espionage themes and serious protagonist. Despite a slow start and continued low earnings, the production represents a significant effort in the Tamil cinema landscape.
