Law Roach: From Image to Taste Architect at Cannes

Law Roach, known as an "image architect," took on the novel title of "taste architect" for Magnum's activation at the Cannes Film Festival. He creatively directed and curated Magnum's first-ever fashion show, a presentation designed to celebrate the "House of Magnum." The runway featured models adorned in outfits inspired by various Magnum ice cream flavors, crafted by eight designers selected by Roach.

Heidi Klum made a surprise appearance at the windy event held at Magnum Beach, walking the runway alongside Roach. Klum's son, Henry Samuel, also participated, with his mother proudly acknowledging his presence. Klum herself wore a glittering green gown, inspired by the new Magnum La Pistache flavor.

Following the fashion show, Roach discussed his new role and shared insights into his extensive work with celebrities like Bella Hadid and Naomi Campbell at Cannes. He also revealed his next major project: styling Ariana Grande for her upcoming "Eternal Sunshine Tour," a commitment that required him to return to the U.S. immediately after his Cannes engagements.

Roach emphasized the alignment between Magnum's commitment to quality and craftsmanship and his own principles as a stylist. He noted Magnum's history in fashion, referencing Kate Moss's 1994 appearance with a Magnum bar. The partnership felt authentic, resonating with his desire to engage in projects that reflect his core values and appreciation for meticulous detail in every aspect of his craft.
