Lauren Goodger Skips TOWIE Vietnam Trip

Lauren Goodger, an original cast member of The Only Way Is Essex, did not join her co-stars for the recent filming trip to Vietnam. She stated that the distance was too significant for her as a mother, and she preferred to remain in Essex with her young daughter. While her castmates like Junaid Ahmed and Ella Rae Wise were in Southeast Asia, Goodger engaged in filming within Essex.

Goodger, who returned to the show in 2024, revealed that her participation has been beneficial for her confidence. She expressed that being a mother has changed her perspective, leading her to avoid manufactured drama and instead focus on being supportive. Goodger also feels that sharing her experiences of healing and trauma on the show can offer a sense of help to others facing similar difficulties.

She highlighted that her journey on the show this series has allowed her to rediscover herself and build new connections. Goodger noted that while the show is not always about glitz and glamour, it has provided a positive environment for her ongoing healing process.
