Alaina Explains Tattoo Delay, New Duet Drop

Country music stars Lauren Alaina and Kane Brown, who first collaborated in 2016, had agreed to get matching diamond tattoos. This was to commemorate their hit song "What Ifs" achieving RIAA diamond status for selling over 10 million units.
However, Alaina revealed in a recent interview that she had to postpone getting her tattoo. She explained that she was pregnant at the time and, after welcoming her daughter Beni Doll Arnold in June 2025, the tattoo pact slipped her mind.
Brown has since received his diamond tattoo. Alaina stated her intention to honor their agreement, noting that their new duet, "Never Been in Love," released on July 17, provides another reason to celebrate and get inked.
