Ben Platt and Rachel Zegler are releasing an official live recording of the musical "The Last Five Years" on April 20, 2026. The album, titled "The Last Five Years (25th Anniversary Live at the London Palladium)," captures their performances from a sold-out concert series at London's Palladium.
Under the direction of composer Jason Robert Brown, the recording brings a symphonic scale to the intimate two-character musical. "The Last Five Years" premiered in 2001 and tells the story of a couple's five-year relationship, with one narrative unfolding in reverse and the other chronologically.
This 25th-anniversary celebration also includes two sold-out final performances at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on April 6 and 7, 2026. Atlantic Records, known for other major musical theater recordings, is releasing the album.
