Actress Lara Dutta recently recounted a stressful travel experience returning to India from Dubai, which she likened to being in "Airlift 2."
Dutta had temporarily moved to Dubai with her daughter for tennis training, while her husband, Mahesh Bhupathi, was away for work. Escalating tensions between Iran and the US put them in a precarious situation.
Living approximately 10 kilometers from the Jebel Ali Port, which was reportedly targeted daily, Dutta decided to travel to Fujairah with her daughter. This occurred just a day after the Fujairah port and an oil refinery were bombed.
Dutta described the journey as frightening, noting they could hear explosions even at the airport. She expressed concern for her daughter's well-being after witnessing such events. Several other Indian celebrities were also reported to be in Dubai during the crisis.
