Landman Reclaims Streaming Crown From Stranger Things
11 Dec
Summary
- Landman topped the streaming chart, surpassing Stranger Things.
- Netflix dominates with six of the top ten streaming titles.
- Holiday specials lead the linear TV chart for another week.

Paramount+'s "Landman" has once again secured the number one position on the weekly streaming chart, successfully unseating Netflix's "Stranger Things." This marks the second time in three weeks that the Billy Bob Thornton western has claimed the top spot, highlighting its strong performance. "Stranger Things" slid to third place, partly due to its explosive debut where a significant portion of viewers binged the entire fifth season within its first 48 hours.
Despite "Landman" leading the charge, Netflix remains a dominant force in streaming. The platform secured six of the remaining eight positions on the Top 10 chart. Notably, the "Sean Combs: The Reckoning" documentary series and the romantic comedy "My Secret Santa" both garnered significant viewership. "Troll 2," a Norwegian monster movie, also made a strong debut, drawing in one million households.
