Lana Del Rey has released a new single and music video, "White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter," which offers a glimpse into her life with her husband, alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene. The music video appears to have been filmed at their home in Des Allemands, Louisiana. In the song, Del Rey defends her 17-month marriage, singing about her love for Dufrene and her attempts at domesticity.

Dufrene, a divorced father of three and retired U.S. Marine, is showcased in the video, even taking over cooking duties from Del Rey, who humorously admits her lack of skill in the kitchen. Del Rey revealed on Instastory that the couple made the video themselves. She co-wrote the song with Dufrene, her brother-in-law, and sister.

Del Rey has known Dufrene since at least 2019, when he assisted her during an airboat tour. She described him as having a calm, strong presence, and he reassured her about the challenges of their relationship due to her public profile by stating, "I work with alligators. I have tough skin."

The song is from Del Rey's upcoming 10th studio album, "Stove," which is her first country record, expected to be released on May 22. The album's release has been slightly delayed due to vinyl production timelines.
