Lamar Odom Challenges Khloe's 'Savior' Narrative

Lamar Odom recently revealed he is currently completely sober and has stopped drinking alcohol. He made these statements during an appearance on Page Six Radio on April 8. Odom shared his perspective on addiction, describing it as a brain disease comparable to cancer.

He explained that educating himself about addiction as a disease makes it easier for him to maintain sobriety. Odom, who was married to Khloe Kardashian from 2009 to 2016, also highlighted the necessity of avoiding substances that could trigger addictive tendencies.

Last month, Odom pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor driving violations, including driving under the influence, stemming from an arrest in Las Vegas. He is focusing on his recovery and sobriety.
