Umansky, however, has vehemently denied Kent's narrative, calling her a "liar" in recent public comments. He admitted to messaging Kent but clarified his intent was to address her alleged negative comments about him, suggesting a conversation rather than a friendly coffee meeting.

Further complicating the account, Umansky pointed out that Kent's claim of not opening the message contradicts her awareness of a coffee invitation.
