Lady Gaga Reveals Plans to Become a Mom Amid Reflections on Her Rise to Stardom

In a candid interview that took place last month, Lady Gaga reflected on her rise to stardom and the challenges she faced in the early days of her career. Gaga, who was still using her birth name Stefani Germanotta when she first started performing at the Bitter End nightclub in New York City as a 14-year-old, shared fliers and other memorabilia from those formative years.

The "Mayhem" artist explained that creating her larger-than-life Lady Gaga persona was a way for her to overcome the deep insecurities she had as a child. "It was so hard that I changed my name," Gaga said, describing the persona as a "creative armor" that allowed her to become the star she always wanted to be.

While Gaga's fame brought its own set of difficulties, she revealed that the more complex struggle was integrating her public persona with her private self. "Figuring out how to integrate those two things, psychologically, for me, that was my big forever work," she admitted.

Elsewhere in the interview, Gaga shared her hopes to take on a new role - that of a mother. "What I really want is to be a mom. That's my next starring role, I hope," she said.
