In a recent Instagram post, the British singer-songwriter expressed strong negative sentiments, stating, "I'm done with this industry. F-k Columbia. Double f-k 'Euphoria.' I'm out."
The artist did not elaborate on the reasons for his decision. His announcement comes just one month before the third season of "Euphoria" is scheduled to premiere on April 12. Labrinth had been slated to collaborate with legendary composer Hans Zimmer for this new season.
Previously, Labrinth had shared his enthusiasm for working with Zimmer on the show's music, calling it "another chapter in the 'Euphoria' universe." Zimmer had also expressed anticipation for the collaboration, noting Labrinth's music had shaped the show's identity.
Season 3 will pick up five years after the events of Season 2. The upcoming season will feature returning cast members including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi, exploring new paths for their characters. Notable cast members who have exited include Barbie Ferreira and Storm Reid, while Angus Cloud passed away in 2023.
