LaBrants Address Child Labor Law Rumors
16 Apr
Summary
- Cole LaBrant clarified family is not moving due to child labor law.
- New law requires earnings for minors 14-18 to be put in trust.
- The family is relocating to a larger property nearby.

Cole LaBrant has directly addressed online rumors suggesting his family's recent relocation was prompted by Tennessee's new child labor law. In a recent TikTok video, LaBrant, 29, emphasized the importance of correcting misinformation regarding his family.
The recently passed law requires that earnings from videos featuring minors aged 14 to 18 be placed in a trust account for the child's benefit. While children under 14 are prohibited from profiting, those between 14 and 18 are entitled to their content's proceeds, with provisions for account administration and content deletion requests.
LaBrant asserted that his children's financial matters are private but confirmed all their children have personal bank accounts and have been compensated for their video work since the beginning. He assured followers that their finances are secure. He also clarified that the family is not leaving Tennessee, where they are happy and invested in the community.
Instead, Cole and his wife, Savannah LaBrant, 33, are moving to a new home "right down the street" to "be on more acres," a decision they had previously discussed. They are parents to five children: Everleigh, 13; Posie, 7; Sunday, 3; Zealand, 5; and Beckham, 23 months. Their eldest daughter, Everleigh, has established a significant online presence with millions of followers and has launched her own skincare line.
