In October 2025, LA-based producer Monte Booker will release his debut album 'Noise / Meaning' via EQT. The album's latest single, 'Defense,' features Los Angeles singer-songwriter Nami. Booker, who is originally from Chicago, has announced the project as a reflection on the meaning of 'noise' and a celebration of his creative community.

Earlier this year, Booker produced several songs on Doechii's album 'Alligator Bites Never Heal,' which won Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards. He has also collaborated with other acclaimed artists like Ravyn Lenae, Saba, and Noname.

Booker's debut solo single, 'Balance,' was released just last month, paving the way for the upcoming full-length album. 'Noise / Meaning' is set to arrive on October 24, 2025, and fans can expect a unique sonic exploration from the rising producer.
