In a move to bolster its representation of below-the-line talent, Los Angeles-based agency Above Below The Line (ABL) has brought on two new agents, Angela Curtis and Melanie Callahan Cammisa.
Curtis, who previously worked as a marketing agent and in production art departments, will now represent production designers and costume designers in film and television. "I'm ecstatic to be joining ABL and to have the opportunity to champion the incredible artists who define the look and feel of the stories we love," she said.
Cammisa, who began her career as an assistant and coordinator at Bold Films, joins ABL as a film and TV production agent. "I'm incredibly excited to join Above Below The Line," she commented. "The agency has built such a forward-thinking approach to representing below-the-line talent/crew, and I'm eager to help expand opportunities for the filmmakers and craftspeople who bring stories to life."
ABL founder Andrew Toth expressed his delight in adding Cammisa's expertise to the growing agency, stating, "She has the perfect energy and ideas we need in this ever changing industry."
With these new hires, ABL continues to expand its diverse roster of below-the-line artists and crew members working across film, television, and commercial production.
