Kyle Richards Wants to Mend Friendship with Dorit Kemsley

Kyle Richards has stated that her main goal for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is to repair her fractured friendship with Dorit Kemsley. Richards expressed a desire to leave their past issues behind and start fresh, acknowledging that things have been difficult between them.

Richards mentioned that she reached out to Kemsley to congratulate her on the release of her memoir, "Unburdened," in June. However, she noted that she has not heard back from Kemsley. Richards emphasized her continued care for Kemsley and her family, particularly as Kemsley navigates her divorce from PK Kemsley.

The friendship has experienced significant tension, notably during season 13 when Kemsley felt Richards was prioritizing other friends. This was compounded by Richards's unhappiness when Kemsley read their private text messages during the season 13 reunion, which Richards felt was an attempt to embarrass her.

Further conflict arose when Richards remained in touch with PK Kemsley, upsetting Dorit. The fallout led to emotional confrontations and a period where the two were not on speaking terms, even experiencing a significant argument during a cast trip to Italy in season 15.

Dorit Kemsley has also indicated openness to reconciliation, stating that resolving issues requires both parties to be willing. She believes that with mutual effort, most conflicts can be overcome.
