Kumar Sanu Wins Legal Battle Against Ex-Wife

Veteran playback singer Kumar Sanu secured a significant legal triumph earlier this year when the Bombay High Court ruled in his favor in a defamation suit against his ex-wife, Rita Bhattacharya. As of January, the court has issued an injunction preventing Bhattacharya from giving contentious interviews concerning the singer, providing Sanu with much-needed relief after an extensive legal dispute.

Reflecting on the judgment, Sanu conveyed a sense of closure, emphasizing the necessity of maintaining dignity in personal affairs. He stated that personal lives should not be made public and that no one has the right to defame another without cause. Sanu explained his decision to pursue legal action, highlighting the emotional toll and potential damage to his reputation built over four decades.
